Where can I vote?

Voters in the 6 precincts of the 5th District vote at 4 locations. (see “Early voting” below)

Precinct 28 votes at Grace Lutheran Church, 1787 Klerner Lane. The precinct encompasses all voters living west of Charlestown Road and east of Hazelwood Drive and Klerner Lane. Its northern boundary is Rainbow Drive/Mt. Tabor Road.

Precinct 26 votes at the American Legion Hall, 1938 McDonald Lane. The precinct encompasses all voters living west of Charlestown Road and east of the railroad tracks. Sheller/McDonald Lane is the rough northern boundary and Ormond and Twin Oaks mark the southern boundary.

Precinct 40 votes at Slate Run Elementary School, 1452 Slate Run Road. The precinct encompasses all voters living east of Charlestown Road, south of Blackiston Mill Road, and north of Laib Dr. and Old Ford Road.

Precinct 15 votes at Slate Run Elementary School, 1452 Slate Run Road. The precinct encompasses all voters living east of Slate Run Road, south of Old Ford Road, and north of Mona Vista.

Precinct 14 votes at Slate Run Elementary School, 1452 Slate Run Road. The precinct encompasses all voters living west of Slate Run Road, north of Beeler Street, east of McDonald Avenue, east of Charlestown Road, and south of Laib Dr./Roselawn Avenue.

Precinct 9 votes at the Ekin Avenue Recreation Center, 1721 Ekin Avenue. The precinct encompasses all voters living north of East Spring Street, east of Silver Street, south of Ekin Avenue and from Slate Run Road to Silver Creek.

Early voting is possible by mail or in person. Contact the office County Clerk Linda Moeller, the county’s chief election officer, for details. Her office is on the 2nd floor of the City-County Building, 300 Hauss Square, and the phone number of the elections office is (812) 948-4711. Early voting begins 4 weeks prior to the May primary election.
